Only one more week of frenetic shopping and social activity and the western world will be able to put its collective feet up and enjoy one day of peace. At least until the in-laws arrive.
Look after yourself, and plan in a few small micro-breaks over the next few days. A cup of coffee, a short walk or best of all - a short spell of self-hypnosis, meditation or mindfulness can work wonders in keeping energy levels high and stress levels low. A merry Christmas is great, but a peaceful Christmas is priceless.
